May: tots100 index of the UK’s top 100 parent blogs

Rainbow One of the things I'll be doing on Who's the Mummy? is tracking the UK parenting blog scene, and publishing the tots100 index of parenting blogs and bloggers.

Below is the most recent index from May, but this will be updated for July, with some new metrics added in and some of these blogs removed because the content isn't being updated – click on the FAQ page to the right to find out more about how the index works, how to submit your blog to the index, and that sort of thing.  If your blog isn't included and you'd like it to be, in the first instance, just leave a comment on this post.

I hope people find the index useful, and enjoy reading the blogs – I've certainly discovered lots of amazing writers who make me laugh, and sometimes just bring the reassurance that we're all going through the same sort of chaos on a daily basis.

  5. Hey- What a fab list!! Not sure if I commented before, but my competitive nature has me wondering where (if?) I fall!!
Off to read some of the fab blogs on the list.
    Kat
    http://www.slugsontherefrigerator.com

  6. Changed my mind upon thinking about it. I don’t want to be on the list as i am really trying NOT to get caught up in a numbers game. That’s not why I blog. But I will be checking out other blogs in the list as I love a good read.

  7. Sally says:

    I think that’s a fair point – no problems.
How about we just swap blogroll links instead? :-)

  8. Sally just a thought, I’m told I might get left out of stuff as the analytics might not recognise my link could you check http://www.beingamummy.blogspot.com if the co.uk doesnt work, which is what im redirected from.
I do agree with Kat about the list thing and find it a bit depressing, but on the other hand im really interested to see where I might be as my site meter averages are from what I can tell quite high…

  9. carol says:

Would you please add mine http://mummynew.blogspot.com

  10. Sally says:

@zooarcheologist – I’ll check it out and see which one works, don’t fret.
    Carol – you’re added!

  12. Hi, I would love to be included.
    I’m at:http://halfmumhalfbiscuit.blogspot.com/
(Don’t think I’d score high on the index as I just started blogging last month and I don;t tweet but would be very happy to augment your blogroll!)
    Cheers!

  13. Hi there,

  14. sally- def will do a swap. planning a big link/blogroll update this weekend and you’re on it…particularly after that fighting piece. brilliant!

  15. Sally says:

@slugs – Thanks, it’s always good when you can take a crappy situation and ‘write it out’. It’s as good as therapy!

  16. Dan says:

I really feel like I’m spamming you here, because I’ve asked in the comments sections of other incarnations. But could you add my blog to the list to be looked at:
    allthatcomeswithit.com
If’ you’ve already done it, then thanks and i promise not to bother you again.

  17. Sally says:

Dan – don’t worry about spamming at all, it’s as well to remind me and I’ll be sure to include you in the next ranking.
    Sally

  18. Café Bébé says:

Hiya…I’m a bit new to the blogging world so I don’t know that I’ve got the STATS to measure. I’ve only been LIVE with this site for a month or so. I know your FAQ said 3 months so maybe you can just file me and keep an eye out.

  23. Sally says:

Hi – thanks for ALL the suggestions. Those blogs that are very new can’t be included as they’re too new for us to gather enough data on your blog, but I will add them to the list and include them as soon as they’re eligible.
The others will be included in the August rankings.
    Thanks!

  24. Hi Sally – good luck with the new blog. Hope you can include http://www.ParentDish.co.uk in your list.
