Who’s the Mummy is the true story of the life of Sally Whittle (that’s me) and her fantastic daughter Flea.
We live in Lancashire, although I sometimes venture further afield in my work as a freelance journalist, blogger and trainer. (Flea wants to be either a pirate or a burglar when she grows up). At the age of 4, Flea has recently taken up a position in Big School. I’ve no idea what this involves because any question on the subject is met with “I don’t remember”.
When we’re not working or in school, we enjoy swimming, watching movies and exploring new places. Sometimes on this blog, I’ll write about places and events that we’ve been invited to for free - if this is the case, I’ll make a point of saying so.
Who’s the Mummy is home to the Tots100 index, a monthly index of the UK’s top 100 parenting blogs. I hope you will use this index to discover more amazing parent bloggers. But… it’s quite a lot of work, so please don’t replicate it without giving credit.
If you’re a PR executive interested in learning how to identify, evaluate and work more effectively with bloggers (or the media in general) you can find out more about my blogger outreach and pitching workshops over at the:101 website.
If you’d like to know more about my journalism, blogging and copywriting services, then visit my professional website at www.sallywhittle.co.uk.
And finally, don’t forget to check out my other blogs – Getting Ink (where I write about social media, PR and journalism), Getting Ink Requests (where journalists post requests for interviews and information) and the Great Toy Guide, a marvellous website I edit, where 25 top parent bloggers review toys in their own inimitable style.
