Looking for the best UK Christmas jumpers for teens in 2022?
If your teen is anything like mine, it can be a challenge to find the right Christmas jumper. You want something festive, and they want something that isn’t (as my 17yo would put it) “totally cringe”.
Fear not. I made a shortlist of what I thought were the best Christmas jumpers for teens currently on sale in the UK, and then I showed it to an actual real-life teen. She told me which jumpers I should immediately strike off my list. Once she’d finished the culling, we were left with this – 10 cute Christmas jumpers available in the UK that your teenager will want to wear.
These are the jumpers your teen will wear on Christmas morning and maybe even – gasp – leave the house in! They’re also a great option if their school or college has a Christmas jumper day.

If you want the best Christmas jumper for teens in 2022, I think this beauty has to be a contender. Available in black or red, it’s cute, uplifting and colourful! The Yule Got This sweater ships from the UK via Etsy. It is a lightweight material so ideal for layering, and it gets the teen nod of approval in our house. It’s available now for £38.
Pale Pink Fair Isle Jumper, New Look
Another cute option from New Look, this fair isle Christmas sweater is long sleeved. It’s decorated with a variety of Christmas icons, including puddings, Santa and candy canes. Perfect for teens who don’t want the more classic fair isle design but don’t want to go TOO overstated. It costs £25 and it available on the New Look site now.

If your teen has a taste for the gothic and can’t choose whether they love Christmas or Halloween first this is the best Christmas jumper! I love this cute Disney Jack and Sally Christmas jumper. It’s cropped, so it has a fresh, young style, and the design perfectly bridges the Nov-Dec season. It costs just £24.99 and is available here.
Womens Eco Fair Isle Christmas Jumper, Amazon
This traditional style fair isle jumper is the best Christmas jumper for teens who like their clothes to have eco credentials. It’s made using 60% regenerated cotton and 40% recycled bottles (PET), meaning it’s friendly to the planet and looks cute without being too over the top (says my teenager). It costs from £22 and is currently in stock on Amazon.
Hogwarts Christmas Jumper for Teens, Amazon
This jumper is really cute, and great for teens who like their jumpers oversized. It has a really lovely design, and meets that teen requirement for an understated Christmas jumper. but do bear in mind if your skin reacts badly to artificial fibres, it’s made of acrylic, so the magical jumper (which is cotton might be a better option). It costs £36 from Amazon here and is available in sizing up to a 5XL.
Fair Isle Christmas Jumper for teens, Boden
I love the warm colours of this fair isle Christmas jumper from Boden and my teenager says it is “cute”. It’s 4% cashmere, so will give your precious teen a touch of luxe, which makes it one of my favourite Christmas jumpers for teens this year.
The jumper is a retro fair isle style with patterned stripes in warm hues. It’s a wool-synthetic blend so should be very comfortable, and the semi-fitted shape is flattering for girls. It’s machine washable (hurrah!) and costs £95 from Boden.
Black and White Christmas Jumper for teens, ASOS
At £34 this Christmas jumper from ASOS makes a great present, and very teen-friendly. Don’t know about you, but I always get bonus points for buying gifts from ASOS. The black and white design will go with anything, and the oversize style gets the nod of approval from my teenager. It’s available in sizes 4-18 at Asos.
Slytherin/Gryffindor Christmas Jumper, Amazon
I love this jumper and it makes a change from all the Gryffindor jumpers you’ll see this Christmas. It’s actually available for all the house colours from the Potter series, and they’re officially licensed and lovely quality. Is it officially a Christmas jumper? Maybe not, but I love it anyway. These jumpers cost from £35 and are available in sizes XS to 5XL for the Gryffindor Hufflepuff or Slytherin in your life.
North Pole Christmas Jumper, Etsy
If you have a teen that’s obsessed with North Face then this Christmas jumper is a cute option for teens. It’s a funny take on the North Face logo with a festive twist. Available in a sweater style at just under £20 from Etsy in multiple colours, it’s a great buy, and you can find it here.

This jumper is really soft and cosy, making it one of the best festive jumpers for snuggling into on cold winter evenings. It’s got a regular fit, and gorgeous colours. Let’s face it – buying any clothing for teens at Christmas can be a bit of a gamble – but hopefully these christmas jumpers for teens will prove a winner in your house, having already received the teenage seal of approval from my teenager!
