Movies have been a big part of our summer.
While we were in San Francisco, we popped to the local cinema to see the new Paper Towns movie, which was great.
In Santa Cruz, we spent an unforgettable evening on the beach, watching 80s classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on the beach on a giant screen. There’s nothing quite like munching popcorn with sand between your toes!
But no matter where we are, Flea and I love movies. And we love them best of all when we’re snuggled on the sofa at home, at the end of a busy day, or as the perfect way to laze away a Sunday afternoon.
Sometimes we watch new kids’ movies, but other times I introduce Flea to some classics – whether it’s Star Wars or Thor, Flea loves a good action movie! This year, I’ve been introducing her to the 80s movies I loved as a kid, and the good news is – Flea loves The Goonies almost as much as I love The Goonies. I’m not sure what I’d do with a child who doesn’t love The Goonies.
Anyway, we’ll be throwing our own movie party when we get home from hols, with a little help from Sky Movies, to help banish those back-home blues.
