Win a Family Trip on Eurostar this Summer!

win day trip paris eurostar

Why not make your next summer day trip a wee bit more exciting, with a day trip to Paris or Brussels with Eurostar?

Read on to find out how you and your family could be taking a FREE day trip to one of Europe’s most exciting city destinations, thanks to Eurostar.

This month, families can take advantage of an amazing special offer from Eurostar, with return tickets to major European destinations for just £58 per adult – and kids under 4 travel free!

With quick and convenient check-in, a seamless city-centre to city-centre journey, and a generous baggage allowance, the train is the perfect way for families to travel. Parents can sit back and relax in spacious surroundings, whilst children have the freedom to roam.

Sounds like a long day, with lots of hassle? Not so.

In fact, you could jump on a train at London St Pancras at around 7am, and be in Paris or Brussels before half past ten. You’ll have the whole day to explore, before catching a train home after dinner.

Don’t fancy another trip to soft play, or afternoon in the local park?

You could be entertaining the kids and soaking up the sunshine at the Paris Plages, with pop-up beaches, deckchairs and free music events. Or pack a picnic and head to the glorious Luxembourg Gardens, where you can play petanque and enjoy the view. You could even head out of the city and spend a day at Disneyland!

Don’t fancy Paris? Why not head to Brussels for the day, discovering how Tintin came to life at the Comics Art Museum? Or go to the Brussels Park Theatre and see the legendary adventures of Belgian puppet Guignolet come to life.

Eurostar passengers travelling to Paris and Brussels can also take advantage of 2 for 1 entry into a range of top museums and galleries including Musée d’Orsay and Grand Palais in Paris and Bozar in Brussels, all by simply showing their Eurostar tickets at entry.

For more information or to book Eurostar tickets visit www.eurostar.com or call the Eurostar contact centre on 03432 186 186.

The possibilities are endless.

I’ve got a two-year-old and a three-year-old and a husband. So three children in total! I’d simply want to soak up the Parisian atmosphere for the day, a picnic with croque monsieurs and limonade, a stroll along the river and a boat ride, topped off with patisserie and a proper chocolat chaud. Simples.

What a wonderful adventure this would be. Croissants for breakfast and a climb up the eiffle tower and a boat trip to see the sights of beautiful Paris would be so much fun before dinner in a Parisian cafe. My little ladies would love the Eurostar journey 🙂

We would go to the top of the Eiffel Tower,, visit the catacombs, see Napoleons tomb, go on a Bateaux on the river, take a stroll and coffee on the left bank, go the Dungeon and see the Paris sunset from the Sacre Couer.

A bateau on the Seine would be our first thing to do and then we’d go up the Eiffel Tower, maybe have some lunch, off then to Notre Dame and the Louvre, and if there’s any time left, maybe a bit of shopping at Lafayette. Stroll along the side of the Seine until we were hungry then….an evening meal at an open air restaurant would be ideal before we had to make our way home after a lovely day and one we’d remember for years to come.

We’ve never been to Paris nor France for that matter, so if I was lucky enough to win I would love to do all the cheesy stuff that tourists do like visit the Eifel Tower, Arc de Treon, as much as I could fit it the day and well into the night. If we went to Brussels ohhh we love Belgium but always go to Bruge so would love to cover all of the Brussels as well and see what the difference between the two are.
