Win an iPad Mini with Who’s the Mummy!

win ipad mini competition

This week, we’re flying off for the next stage in our summer adventure – and that’s going to involve a looong flight.

I could offer all sorts of top tips about keeping kids entertained during long haul travel – busy bags, healthy snacks, crafts, books and so on. But I could sum it up as… iPad.

Downloading games and especially TV shows is the perfect way to pass the time when you’re not snoring at 15,000 feet, don’t you think? And taking an iPad on holiday also means you get access to loads of movies and TV shows when you land – perfect for whiling away a few hours when you’re awake at 4am with jetlag…

Happily, the nice people at Netflix have gifted me an iPad Mini to welcome us to the 2016 Netflix Stream Team, but we are already fully kitted out with mobile devices in our household, so I wanted to share this gift with one of my lovely readers, as a thanks for following our ramblings for, ooh, seven years or so now.

Having blitzed through Dexter, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Orange Is The New Black, The Good Wife, Suits… I could go on… I’m absolutely loving Orphan Black. The main actress plays a load of characters and is mind blowingly brilliant at it! Have a great time away x

has to be Friends, I hadn’t watched a single episode until they aired the very last one, it was all on the news about would Ross and Rachel end up together, so I watched a random episode and got hooked, so then had to get the entire boxset that I watched one after the other.

Well I’ve recently gone retro and started watching the ‘Cold Feet’ box set – it’s got a cracking 90s/early 00s Madchester soundtrack and I’m really enjoying it. I used to watch it as a student back in the day so couldn’t quite relate to some of the characters’ difficulties…now as a thirtysomething I’m really feeling their pain! Forget Ross and Rachel…Adam and Rachel all the way!
