It’s half-way through half-term.
We’ve done a lot.
Little has been done in the way of work, and zero in the way of housework, but I sort of think that’s how it’s supposed to be.
We’ve done the important stuff.
Like spending a morning building some frankly awe-inspiring LEGO creations.
And enjoying a few days at Disneyland Paris (more on this later)
Going to a Halloween party and giggling our way through trick or treating in the rain.
Driving to the beach at night to admire the full moon.
Enjoying an impromptu long lunch with friends from overseas.
Hanging out with my family and laughing until my sides ached.
Hope you’re all having a wonderful break, too.
Sounds positively idyllic!
Pretty much!
Sounds like a perfect half term to me. Ours was last week so it already seems like a distant memory, and I refuse to look forward to that holiday that happens next month until I absolutely have to!
We shall not speak of it again for another month.
That’s EXACTLY how you should spend half term – hope you enjoy the rest of it just as much x
Thanks, lovely.
Sounds blissful – you and Flea are a lucky pair. I have attempted some hoovering. That’s about the sum total of our activity this holiday!
We are a VERY lucky pair, except I’m a bit less lucky because I have to do things in PowerPoint today *cry*
Sounds about right to me! We too have done zip all housework, but have done lots of crafts, halloweening, and walking to town for no good reason whatsoever. We are having fun, thank you.
We have a FAIL on crafting, I’m sad to say.
Love it all!!!
Thanks. Hope you’re having a great week, too?
Sounds great! We’ve also been playing with lego, down at the beach and long lunches!
We haven’t been “away” this half term but we’re about to book our holiday to Disneyland Paris for next year- I can’t wait!
Oooh, exciting – you’ll have a fab time, I’m sure.
Sounds rather like mine on the housework front. The house is a tip, but memories have been made and that is what matters in my book
My house is even more of a tip since the kittens found the shredder and distributed the contents across the dining room. Grrr.
Sally that sounds wonderful. But for the very first time I think we can compete with you as we went to Canada for half-term. A long weekend in Vancouver, then just under a week with my relatives, complete with about 2 feet of snow for Joshua to play in.
