Flea’s bedtime story video

I'd completely forgotten about this video – it's from last year, Flea reading her favourite bedtime story, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".

See? With the right coaching, your children can read their own bedtime stories, thereby saving you a job.

I particularly enjoy how 'five plums' sounds like 'dry bums' (well, to my depraved ear at any rate) and how she just makes up something random that sounds a bit like 'salami'.

Charlie will read anything as long as there’s a ‘big buh’ (that’s ‘big bus’ by the way!) in it. In fact, that’s all he says, whatever book he’s ‘reading’. Still, he’s only 18 months…

That seems entirely reasonable – all the best books have buses in them, surely?
