It was a quiet day in Playmobil-land. Children raced go-karts, while mothers kept a loving eye on little ones, cosied up in their prams. A friendly policeman chatted with a child, while in the background, small dogs and cats playfully chased one another.
Yes, that is a baby the dinosaur is eating.
I can't quite decide if it's a good or a bad thing that Flea came up with this lovely tableaux without anyone else's help. The whole "people lying on the floor while police and paramedics look on helplessly" thing? All her own imagination.
(ps we're decorating, hence the dodgy wall coverings.)
That reminds me of when we were little and we’d set up entire wars using our Playmobile – so cute!
My kids don’t like playmobil, I still buy it though because I do. Especially pirates Arrrrrr.
did you see there was a PR company offering to give away review playmobil over on BMB recently, in the reviews group I think.
I decided against it as I don’t want to sell my soul too many times, but it might be worth you having a look if you haven’t already.
Playmobile is so good to play. We have a zoo, that mainly has people in the cages and the animals walking around.
This is so funny, I want playmobil. How long do I have to wait?
I see a Nick Park in the making 🙂
@Just a Mum – yes, me too!
@Dan – I’ve signed up for details, although I’m not sure our modest 3 bed home can actually physically contain any more Playmobil.
@Caroline – the zoo – that’s on Flea’s birthday wish list – is it VERY fiddly to put together?
@Dancinfairy – I got Flea’s first simple sets for her third birthday – but I keep a tupperware box for some of the tiny, tiny bits, which I think she’s a bit small to cope with just yet.
@Karen – ooh, maybe. We’re going to an animation workshop next month, I’ll have to keep an eye out for hidden talents!
