You Know You’re a Bad Mummy When….

…you have this conversation with your four-year-old on the way home from school:

Me: “Was it meatballs for lunch today, Flea?”

Flea: “No.”

Me: “Lasagne?”

Flea: “No.”

Me: “Spaghetti Bolognese?”

Flea: “No. It was chicken pie and carrots.”

Me: “Well, what’s this big red splodge on your jumper then?”

Flea: “Oh, that. That’s from Monday.”

Oh Sally you do make me laugh. Thankfully the boys have red jumpers, so it hides a multitude of tomatoe based spoldges!!

ha ha ha! I love that you are so like me! I pulled a pair of PJ’s out of the wardrobe this evening, it wasn’t until I got them on her that I realised they had dried up porridge all down them. I must have folded them up and put them back in the wardrobe dirty instead of putting them in the washing basket! did i hurry to get a clean pair? did I heck – they’ll just end up with porridge down them again in the morning!
